Scavenger Hunt Stop #3

Hello! I’m so excited you have stopped by here today. I am stop #3 on the Fall Christian Fiction Scavenger Hunt, where by finding all the clues (they are easy to find!) you can be entered to win the grand prize of a New iPad Mini or the 2nd and 3rd prize packs which include a copy of all 25 books featured on the hunt (a value over $300)! And in the process, you get the fun of meeting authors with new or soon-to-be-released novels. What could be better than that?

Here are the details you need to know:

  • the hunt begins 10/18 at noon, mountain time (that’s 11am pst, 1pm cst, 2pm est, I think!)
  • the hunt ends 10/20 at midnight, mountain time (plenty of time!)
  • there at 25 stops on the hunt, each with a clue in RED
  • start at stop #1 ( and progress through all 25 stops, collecting the clues along the way. When you have all the clues, fill out the rafflecopter form on Lisa’s site. If you are notified as a winner on 10/21 you must provide the completed clue quote within 24 hours of the email or forfeit the prize and another winner will be drawn. (No need to give the clue sentence unless you are a winner.)
  • this contest is open to international entrants.

So let the fun begin!

I’m so excited to welcome Robin Lee Hatcher to my blog today! She is a prolific writer (the kind who inspire me!) and is part of a lovely group of authors who blog at Writes of Passage. Here is a little more about Robin:

Best-selling novelist Robin Lee Hatcher, author of 70 novels and novellas, is known for her heartwarming and emotionally charged stories of faith, courage, and love. She and her husband make their home in Idaho where she enjoys spending time with her family, her high-maintenance Papillon, Poppet, and Princess Pinky, the DC (demon cat). To learn more about Robin and her books, please visit her web site at or join her on Facebook at

Robin’s newest release, Beloved, is the conclusion to her Where the Heart Lives trilogy. Here’s the summary of Beloved, curtesy of Goodreads:

Diana Brennan came west on the orphan train and was given a home with a loving couple who cherished and spoiled her. At 17, she fell hard for Tyson Applegate, the son of a wealthy mine owner. After a whirlwind courtship and marriage, Tyson took off for adventures around the world, including fighting with the Rough Riders in Cuba. Receiving no word of him for seven years, Diana’s infatuation with her dashing husband died an ugly death, and she is ready to move past the old pain and marry again, just as soon as Tyson is declared legally dead.
But when her husband returns, supposedly a changed man, he wants to reunite with his wife and run for the senate. While Diana suspects the election is his real reason for wanting her by his side, she agrees to maintain his home and to campaign with him, but when it is over, win or lose, she wants her freedom. He agrees with one condition—-she must give him a chance to change her mind about him.

Now I’d like you to hear from Robin herself!

A Writer’s Bookshelf: Ten Read – Three Reading – Ten TBR

By Robin Lee Hatcher

Okay, come on. Confess. If you’re a book lover like me, don’t you like to go into someone’s home and look at their bookshelves? A home library tells you a lot about a person. (Getting a peek at books is not quite as easy or as fun to do with ereaders.)

Anyway, I thought for this scavenger hunt that I would give you a peek at my virtual bookshelf.  Here goes…

Ten books I’ve read so far this year are:

  1. The White Queen by Philippa Gregory
  2. That Dog Won’t Hunt by Brandilyn Collins
  3. Once Upon a Time by Debbie Macomber
  4. Thin Body: The Magic of Walking 10,000 Steps by Scott Walker
  5. Dog On It by Spencer Quinn
  6. The Wedding Dress by Rachel Hauck
  7. Gifts Differing by Isabel Briggs Myers
  8. A House Full of Hope by Missy Tippens
  9. Austenland by Shannon Hale
  10. Warrior in Pink by Vivian Mabuni (an advance copy; book releases in 2014)

Three books I’m currently reading are:

  1. The Way Back Home by Barbara Freethy
  2. The Red Queen by Philippa Gregory
  3. How to Market a Book by Joanna Penn

Ten books in my To Be Read “pile” that I might read next:

  1. Twelve Ordinary Men by John MacArthur
  2. Barefoot Summer by Denise Hunter
  3. Force of Habit by James Scott Bell
  4. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
  5. King Leopold’s Ghost by Adam Hochschild
  6. The Women of the Cousins’ War by Philippa Gregory
  7. The Fault in our Stars by John Green
  8. Growing Up Amish by Ira Wagler
  9. And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini
  10. I, Paul by Jerry B. Jenkins

Listing my recent reads above was easy. I’m participating in the Goodreads Reading Challenge this year and am keeping a good record. Same for the three books I’m currently reading. But the list of ten books I might read next? That was hard, and it may not be even close to the books I’ll read next. I have hundreds and hundreds of unread books on my Kindle, calling to me, telling me to hurry up and get to them. Oh, to have nothing to do but read!

If you’re on Goodreads, I hope you’ll send me a friend request, and if you’re participating in the 2013 Reading Challenge, I hope you’ll let me know how you’re doing.

Happy reading!!

    • So sorry, Tammy! My fault. It was my first time to use Rafflecopter and I didn’t set the end time right. I hope you went on with the hunt and entered for the big drawings since you still had plenty of time for that! (And I apologize for not getting to this comment right away to address the issue, but hubby and I had been traveling home all day and couldn’t keep our eyes open any longer! I appreciate your understanding!)

    • Sorry, Tina! My fault. First time to use Rafflecopter and I set the end time wrong. I apologize. But I’m glad you got the clue and continued the hunt!

  1. Thank you for being part of this Scavenger Hunt! I love being introduced to new authors (to me) and plan to check out your books. I entered too late for your raffle, though. 🙁

  2. Anne, you’re a new author to me. Your book sounds intriguing… will definitely check it out! 🙂 I’ve loved Robin for some time now… Beloved is seriously on my TBR list!

    • I’m so sorry! It was my first time using it and I obviously set the end time wrong. 🙁 But there is still plenty of time to enter the big giveaway at stop #26 for the ipad mini or 1 or the 2 collections of all 25 books featured in the hunt!

  7. Ohmygoodness, when she asked if we like to look at other people’s bookshelves…..SO TRUE! LOL seriously that’s me. Thank you so much for the peek into yours as well 🙂

    Anne, what’s on your shelf?

    • Too many to mention! Seriously! A few I have waiting to be read are: A Bride for Keeps by Melissa Jaegers, Return to Me by Lynn Austin, The Wedding Dress by Rachel Hauck, The Governess of Highland Hall by Carrie Turansky, and Silver Bells by Deborah Raney. And oh, so many more!!!

  8. I’ve read Barefoot Summer by Denise Hunter and Growing Up Amish by Ira Wagler. Absolutely LOVED Barefoot Summer. Fun reading! Growing up Amish was a great read. It really gives quite a glimpse into the Amish’s way of life.

  9. I have not read any of those books but I have read many books by Robin Lee Hatcher and I believe Beloved is going on my TBR list. Thanks

  10. I haven’t read any of your books but I would love to. I hope I am one of the ones that wins the drawing so I can start reading your work.

  11. Hi Anne, It is nice to “meet” you. I will be looking for your books so I can add them to my overflowing bookshelves. Yes, I am someone who has to look at the books in bookcases when I visit others. 🙂

  12. I haven’t read any of those books but I was thinking about reading Austenland. These books sound interesting, I’ll have to look them up.

  13. Love these Scavenger Hunts! I have been introduced to some of my favorite authors this way. Robin Lee Hatcher has been a favorite for years.

  14. The only book I’ve read on Robin’s list is The Wedding Dress by Rachel Hauck, which I really enjoyed. I have so many books in my to-read pile that I don’t need to add any of her recommendations.

  15. I love Robin Lee Hatcher books, but I’m ashamed to say I don’t recognize any of the titles in the several lists she mentions. All for my TBR pile!

  16. I am always on the lookout for new authors and new stories to add to my long list of favorites. I can’t wait to read one of your books.

    • I have read The White Queen and the Red Queen by Phillipa Gregory. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak is already in my TBR pile.

  17. I have read 4 of your books so far and I have loved them all!! hope to get this if not I will still be supporting you!

  18. I have not read any of her books. I would like to read, The Wedding Dress…this will need to go on my list ASAP!

  19. I have read the Book Thief. It was slightly hard to get into, but it was a touching story. I cried at the end even though the whole time you knew what was coming. It was a great book!

  20. The only one that I have read in your list is The Wedding Dress by Rachel Hauck and I loved it! I have heard that the books by Phillipa Gregory are good…

  21. Robin Lee Hatcher is one of my favorite authors. I always look forward to reading her books. I’ve read too many to list and plan on reading more in the future.

  23. I haven’t read any of those books, but the ones by Philippa Gregory sound interesting. Also “Growing Up Amish” by Ira Wagler.

  24. Thanks for having the Scavenger Hunt. I love meeting new authors and hearing from ones I already know.

  25. I have read two of your books (and am looking forward to your new one) and have read several of Robin’s books, too. I am enjoying this scavenger hunt!

  26. I enjoy reading your books. I always keep a list of my favorite authors so I can check and see when they have new books coming out! You are on my list

  27. I have not read either book, but would be very happy to win one or the other as both are on my TBR list.
    Thanks for the chance!

  28. Hi, Anne!

I haven’t read any of the books on Robin’s lists, but would like to read Twelve Ordinary Men, & I, Paul, & would love to read your books, Anne, especially A Home For My Heart! Thanks for the opportunity to win one of your books!

  29. No I have never read any of the books you mentioned but I would love to! Thanks for the awesome giveaway and God Bless!

  30. I have read The Wedding Dress, and I’ve been looking forward to reading Barefoot Summer. It sounds great! Thanks for participating in the Scavenger Hunt!

  31. is I, Paul a typo or a sequel to I, Saul?

I, Saul is on my “to-read” list, but if there’s a sequel that might be too much of a commitment for this year 🙂

  32. My daughter has read several of the Philippa Gregory books and I keep meaning to do so as well. (so many books so little time!). The White Queen looks like a good place to start.

  33. I am looking forward to reading one of your books. I love finding new books to read. This is my first Scavenger Hunt.. very interesting. 🙂

  34. I was surprised that I haven’t read any of the books on your list, although many are authors I read. In particular I’ll be looking for James Scott Bell’s book (I think I have some catching on his titles so I’m happy about that–I read fast). Thank you for participating in the Scavenger hunt!

  35. I am goodreads, but I haven’t utilized it like I should. I love your book list. I have no idea how many I’ve read it in the last few months, so I definitely going to start trying to keep track!

  37. Oh, Beloved sounds like a interesting read!! My to be read pile is enormous and keeps getting longer!!

  39. I just finished reading Rachel Hauck’s book, Once Upon a Prince and my next book is Wedding Dress, on your fav list. My fav author isnt on your list….Dee Henderson. But there’s so many to explore in this growing genre!

  43. Robin I loved reading your post and I too have hundreds of books on my Kindle Fire that I haven’t read yet and hope to eventually get around to reading. I’m on Goodreads but must admit that is confuses me as I’m not really sure how to participate. I think I entered the challenge then promptly forgot about it and I haven’t been keeping track of the books I’ve read. I need to start keeping a log of the books I’ve read along with a short synopsis so I can remember them. I’m enjoying reading the posts in this contest and I’m finding a lot of books I want to read.

    • Molly, it took me awhile to figure out Goodreads, but this year, I got serious about keeping track of the books I’ve read and the books I want to read. Goodreads has been very helpful, now that I’ve figured it out.

  44. It’s fun to learn what authors are reading. The only one on Robin’s lists I’ve read so far is Dog on It.

  45. I haven’t read any of the books you listed, but I do have Philippa Gregory’s War of the Roses books on my TBR list. I am also on Goodreads and doing the Reading Challenge…44 out of 58 so far.

  47. I’ve read Austenland and have these on my tbr: That Dog Won’t Hunt, The Wedding Dress, and I, Paul. Thanks for the giveaway! 🙂

  49. Something I really appreciate with this contest is learning the names of new authors and getting a glimpse of their books. I ♥ reading!

  50. Anne, I really enjoyed Wings of a Dream but your blog post on Laura Frantz page for this scavenger hunt truly resonated with me. Thank you for sharing your love of Scripture and how it is conforming you to Christ’s image.

    • Bless you, Amy, for your kind words about both Wings of a Dream and my post on Laura’s page. Writing is simply one way The Lord is conforming me to His image. I pray He uses what I write to in some small way do that in others, too.

  51. I have not read any of the books she mentioned. I do have a few of them on my TBR list now. 🙂

  52. I haven’t read any of the books on Robin’s list but I would like to read The Wedding Dress by Rachel Hauck.

  54. I haven’t read any of the books mentioned but a lot of them sound intriguing and will be going on my tbr pile once it gets whitled down a bit.

  55. I should keep better track of my reading list–I guess I let my reviews on goodreads and Amazon do that. LOL This is a terrific way to spread the word about great authors and new releases. Best of luck on your launch!

  56. Love the hunt, love what you do, love the gentle soul that you are. Thank you for the opportunity to be a winner.

  57. I have read a few of those same books, Robin. I see several on your list that I haven’t heard of, so I need to check those out. Thanks for sharing! I am loving this scavenger hunt. How fun!!

Thanks for increasing my TBR list, though I have tons of books on my Kindle, too!

  90. I have read several of Robin’s books, but not recently. I try to read only one book at a time so I don’t get confused! lol

  91. Thank you so much for participating in the hunt. It is wonderful to get to know you through “the hunt”!! I will have to write some of those books down for my own future reading!!

  92. I have read and will read some she has listed but my Kindle is like hers. I see one I want to read next but then find something I can’t let go. Last time I did the scavenger hunt, I won a book from an author I hadn’t read and now all are on wish list. This is great.Just finishing all 3 of Tammy Doherty’s Celtic Knot, Celtic Cross and Claddaugh.

  93. Oh, she has GOT to read “Barefoot Summer” by Denise Hunter. I read it this summer and it was excellent!! Everything I’ve read by her thus far has been great, but I got discovered her, so I’ve only read two or three of her books.
    Thanks for hosting this giveaway!

  94. I am an avid Christian reader. Read them and love to talk about them with my grandma and aunt. It is something we can share. You all are great writers!

  95. I work in a middle school. Today, in Advisory, they had 15 minutes of mandated silent readig. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have to read?

I am unfamiliar with your works, but they look intriguing. I have enjoyed Robin Lee Hatcher’s for years.

    • Lol! Sometimes I threaten to have my own “DEAR” (Drop Everything and Read) time like my kids used to in school. But I know if I did I’d go WAY over the 15 minutes!

  96. I haven’t read any of those books. I do agree with your comment about the e-books though! Hard to start a conversation with someone who is reading a book that you like if they are reading an ebook!

  97. I have not read any of the books on Robin’s list, but I have read several of hers. I so enjoy these scavenger hunts; in fact, that is where I “discovered” Robin! I follow her blog and feel she is a friend. Looking forward to reading your books and “getting to know you” too. On her list I would like to read “The Wedding Dress”..will start with that 🙂 My shelves and Kindle are full — I could read 24/7 and most likely never find an empty, unread shelf.

  98. First time hearing about her – I know apparently I live under a rock. lol her books sound good though

  99. I have the Wedding Dress in my TBR pile. Nothing else looks to familiar, but I have read some by Debbie Mccomber.

  100. The Book Thief is on my list of to be read, and there are certainly a few more Robin mentions that I need to add such as Warrior in Pink. I too have a Kindle full of books to read as well as books on shelves. If only I could read faster! But one can never have too many books! A Home For My Heart is definitely going on my to read list too! Thank you so much for this site and this scavenger hunt! It is exciting to discover new authors and books!

  101. I’ve never heard of that Goodreads Reading Challenge even though I’m on that site all say. I should pay more attention to margins and sidebars!

  102. Love your books. I’m a readaholic too. Never enough time and so many of the books I treasure are still on my bookshelves. Just finished “I, Paul.” Very interesting. I think you’ll like it.

  103. I didn’t answer the questions, but it said I commented. I have read so many of Robin’s books, however, I have not read the two that were mentioned yet. I guess that is because I have about 3,000 books in my to-be-read pile, or piles. I will definitely be adding both books to my list, and I thank you for telling me about them.

  104. I haven’t read any of those books, but I am adding “The Wedding Dress” by Rachel Hack and “Growing Up Amish” by Ira Wagler to my TBR list.

  105. You are one of my favorite authors and one of my first when I discovered Christian Fiction many years ago. I wanted to learn about romantic love God’s way. I had experienced the other, and been healed & reborn in my relationship with Christ and in my marriage (married 10 yrs at the time) your books of Coming to America were so great and I just loved those gals from Bethlehem Springs (going to re-read them) . . . after I read Beloved! Thanks for all!

  106. I have not read any of Robin Lee Hatcher’s novels but they look very interesting! She’s now on my to-read list; whichever of her novels I can find at my library. 🙂

Thanks so much for participating in the scavenger hunt. I love the opportunity to meet new authors and their books. 🙂

  107. I don’t believe I have read any of those books but I have read some by some of the authors. “The Book Thief” is actually on my shelf to be read.

  108. My daughter has a few of her books, if I find time to sit down and read I will definitely be picking one up.

  109. I think the only one of those I have read is Barefoot Summer, but I am dying to read Austenland, since it has also been made into a movie. I think if I see the movie first, I might not read the book. Shannon Hale is an entertaining author, though!

  110. I have read “The Book Thief”. Not sure what books she has listed that I would add. Maybe Force of Habit by James Scott Bell.

  111. I have read some of Robin’s books, but none that she mentioned. Thanks for the chance to win!

    • Hey Sylvia–click on the phrase “Robin Lee Hatcher’s own website/blog” just after her post ends and it will take you there. Sorry you had trouble!

  112. I have not read any of your books but I have also read Rachel Haucks wedding book and I just finished Barefoot Summer by Denise Hunter loved them both. Looking forward to reading yours now and good luck everyone:)

  113. Okay, you are killing me! I have a ton on my TBR list and here you go with your lists and now I have even more to read. Haha, don’t you love it! I love books and am very excited about adding more.
Okay, let’s talk about The White Queen, I have been watching it on tv and now I have to read the books. What a fascinating time. I have read The Wedding Dress and LOVED IT!! Thanks for the lists and the giveaway!

  114. I haven’t read any of the books she mentioned. I need to finish some of the current books I am ready before I add to my TBR pile 🙂

  115. I haven’t read any of her books yet, but they are on my list, and The Shepherd’s Voice looks like a great one! Ok, a lot of them look great 🙂

  116. Unfortunately I haven’t read any of her books yet, but my sister owns two so I may borrow them from her 🙂

  117. I haven’t read any of the authors whose sites I have visited so far, but I am excited to be discovering all these new authors. Beloved does sound very intriguing!

  118. I did read one by Robin and really enjoyed it! I totally agree with her that I always look at someone’s bookshelf (if it contains books) to see what they have! You really do learn something about their personality!

  119. Love Robin’s books! It’s fun to take a peek at her reading pile. I’ve read a few of them, but need to read That Dog Won’t Hunt. Sounds like a departure for Brandilyn.

  120. Surprisingly the only one on the list I’ve read is The Wedding Dress. I read on average, one book a day (although, admittedly, a lot of teen fiction as that is what my website is focused on – I have over 500 reviews of Christian teen fiction books), all Christian fiction, so having only read one of those is odd for me. A number of the authors I’ve never even heard of. Are they all Christian fiction?

  121. None of this group is in my TBR list, but I want the one by Ira Wagner, “growing Up Amish” if I can ever find it. Might have to read it from the Library. I would love to be one of your winners. Wasn’t a winner of last years Scavenger Hunt.

  122. I haven’t read any of the books listed there, although several of the TBR ones look really interesting.
Thanks for taking part in the scavenger hunt!

  123. I know just what Robin is talking about with her huge list of books to choose from for what to read next. I never know what I am going to read next – so many choices, such little time!

  124. I haven’t read any of the books she mentioned. Due to the mountainous TBR pile I already have, some of these are going on the standby list! LOL

  125. Been reading Robin’s books and love them. I have the latest series (the first two) on my bookshelf waiting to read. Would love to get #3 to complete the series!

  126. I have not read any of the books listed by Robin, however, Barefoot Summer by Denise Hunter is calling to me from my kindle!!!

  127. Thank you so much for taking part in this scavenger hunt. I always have so much fun. I didn’t notice any of the books you read as ones I have recently read but some of the titles are familiar.

  128. I haven’t read any of the ones she mentioned so I might have quite a few to add to the TBR pile.

  129. Love getting a long list of new authors and books to read! Hope I win one of yours! Currently reading Wonder by R.J. Palacio

  130. I have not read any of Robin’s books or the books on the list or you books; however, you have my interest now! What a great scavenger hunt!

  131. I love these scavenger hunts – such a great way to meet some new authors and learn new things about some old favorites!

  132. My TBR pile will only get bigger after this scavenger hunt! Right now, I would put ‘The Wedding Dress’ by Rachel Hauck, ‘Force of Habit’ by James Scott Bell, and anything I can get my hands on that you have written, since I don”t have all your books in my library yet!

  133. I haven’t read any of Robin Lee Hatcher’s books but I do have them on my TBR list. Thanks for the giveaway!

  134. I’ve read the first two in Robin’s Where the Heart Lives Trilogy and I’m working on Beloved right now, excellent! And as far as what I want to read off her list I’ve got Barefoot Summer by Denise Hunter on my TBR shelf 🙂

  135. I’ve read The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. Made me cry. Great book. I’ve got Austenland on my TBR. Can’t wait to read it.

  136. I haven’t read any of the books that were mentioned, but I have seen The Red Queen at the library and might pick that up next time I’m there!

  137. This is my first scavenger hunt and I am loving it. Look forward to reading all the books showcased in the hunt.

  138. I am currently reading The Heretic’s Daughter, but am interest in the White/Red Queen books that you mentioned, having read The Other Boelyn Girl.

  139. thanks for the chance to win. I haven’t read any of those book 🙁 But I would check them out for sure…

  140. I love your books. I confess, I’m usually not a big fan of books written in first person, but your books are the exception and I can’t wait to read the next one 🙂

    • Aren’t you sweet! Thank you! Don’t know if this will make it better or worse for you, but the next book is alternating 1st person points of pov–the hero and the heroine! 🙂

  141. I haven’t ready any of the books mentioned on your list – they all sound interesting! There’s just too many books to read and so little time!

  142. I read Growing Up Amish recently, very good, had my husband also read it. I’ve read a lot of Phillipa Gregory;s older books, but should try to catch up…so many books out there. Would love to read yours, too; I enjoy historical fiction probably the best of all genres (but read a variety). Great idea, this scavenger hunt.

  143. I haven’t read any of the books that Robin mentioned YET! Some of them are already on my TBR pile/list and more of them are going on it. My stack grows faster than I can read because there are SO MANY wonderful authors that write Christian Fiction now. Thanks so much for being a part of the scavenger hunt this time. I love reading everyone’s blog posts and it’s always great to have a chance to win now books – I have to make sure I will never run out of reading material (tongue-in-cheek).

  144. Thanks for the chance to win! These hunts are fun! No I haven’t read any of robin’s books but she is one of the new authors I want to read soon

  145. I am always excited to learn of new books. Robin, I have read 20 books so far this year. I am currently reading 18 books and have another 30 books waiting to be read. Needless to say, I love to read.

  146. Beloved is at the top of my TBR list and I can’t wait to read it. I just completed my Goodreads Reading Challenge last week with 75 books but I have many more I want to read before the end of the year.

  147. I confess I always snoop around in people’s bookshelves the moment their backs have turned. From Robin’s lists I have read Austenland and The Book Thief.

  148. I liked your FB Page. I am not reading anything now, as I am rushing to finish my daughters wedding quilt.

  149. I liked reading Robin Hatcher’s Beloved and have the next one Betrayal ready to read. I also like any of Rachel Hauck’s books. I liked Once Upon a Prince. Really good read.

Beloved sounds so intriguing! I believe I have read the first book in that series, Belonging.
    Thanks for the giveaway! 🙂

  152. I’m participating in the Goodreads challenge but am sadly behind. I challenged myself to read 125 books this year and so far I am at 70. I don’t think I’m going to make the 125. Love having a peek at Robin’s bookshelves. I too have 100’s of books on my ereader. But I also have stacks and stacks of physical books too. Ack!

  153. I haven’t read either of Robin’s books mentioned. But I have read and reviewed some of her books.

  154. I have not read of any of the books Robin Lee Hatcher had mentioned, but I plan of reading Barefoot Summer by Denis Hunter.

  155. I loved the Wedding Dress, and you definitely should read Barefoot Summer. It’s awesome, as well. I am also considering reading The Fault in our Stars.

  156. I have not read them yet – but I’m collecting some to read during the holidays when I’m off w/my family

  157. I’m going to have to keep better track of my reading lists! I know what I’m supposed to be reading, because it’s stacked up on my desk, but I lose track of everything I have read.

    • Several years ago I started keeping a list of books I’d finished. Not only was it helpful in remembering what I read, but it also reminds me how much I read! (Which can be good AND bad!)

  158. I am on Goodreads but do not have much of TBR list. I do however keep a journal of books (I started this just recently before discovering Goodreads) In that journal I have listed every book I’ve read (that I can remember)my TBR list in my journal contains two of Robin’s TBR books. “The Book Thief” and “Growing Up Amish” I’m so excited you and Robin are participating in this scavenger hunt. I’ve participated in one and had so much fun!

  159. I’m definitely going to have to check out some of the books your listed. But I’m the same… I have a ton of books on my “To Read” shelf. haha… 🙂

  160. Robin love to read your books and happy to see you on this “Hunt” so much fun seeing new authors and also old favs…not that you are old my friend.

  161. Anne thanks for being apart of this scavenger hunt and showcasing Robin. Robin I love that you included books you are reading or have read. Every once in a while someone might see one and decide to try it. Thank you again for this opportunity.

  162. This Scavenger Hunt is a lot of fun. It’s also helping me to discover so many authors’ websites (which I have been meaning to do). 🙂

  163. I have not read any of Robin’s list of books but would be interested in a few and yes I love to look at others bookshelves.

  164. Like the book lists you gave for books read, currently reading and to read. I love books and listen to them on CD, read them on Kindle, and read them on hard copy. I read so many that I keep book lists on each author so I can keep it all straight. sm

  165. I read That Dog Won’t Hunt by Brandilyn Collins and loved it! The Book Thief by Markus Zusak is on my TBR list I want to read it before I see the movie 🙂

  167. The Wedding Dress by Rachel Hauck is the book I have purchased and have waiting for me to hide out with when I have my review books read and reviews written for them up-to-date from my TBRs. I have not read any on Robin’s lists.

  168. This is such a fun scavenger hunt! I haven’t read any of the books Robin mentioned, although I’ve heard many great things about The Wedding Dress!
