When I Have Nothing to Say

In today’s world we are constantly being asked to say something. In conversation. On social media. Through our work. And yet how many times have we heard or read something and cringed in embarrassment for the speaker, knowing that they will regret having said something before thinking it through.

Proverbs 17:28


And so I find myself quiet lately, having nothing fully formed to say. And I fear saying anything before I’ve had a chance to contemplate it thoroughly. Sometimes I fear saying it even then! But if being counted as wise and prudent means remaining silent when I have nothing of consequence to say, than I’m okay with that.
