Just a Bit of Freshening Up (and a Giveaway!)

Hey y’all–

It was time for a bit of a makeover on the website, thanks to Ashely and George Weis at Author Lab at Tekeme Studios! Didn’t they do a great job? Of course I’ll be adding some widgets and things here and there, so check back over the next few weeks to see what’s new!

To celebrate my fresh, new site, I’m giving away a copy of Wings of a Dream! If you want to be entered in my drawing for the book, leave a comment here (be sure to include an email address!) or on my facebook page (click on “f” link to your right)Β or tweet about my new website (be sure to include @AnneMateer in your tweet so I’ll see and count it!). That means you can enter up to three times! But you’d better hurry. The comment/tweet deadline is Friday, April 27, 2012 at midnight CDT. I’ll announce the winner of an autographed copy of Wings of a DreamΒ on Monday, April 30!

Send your friends over to join the party, too!

  4. I really like the house at the top of the page, it is lovely. It looks like the homes I “picture in my mind” of the 1800’s. I love that time period. I would love to win a copy of Wings of a Dream, it sounds wonderful. Blessings, Tina

  5. Found your book at the library displayed on the “New Books” shelf. So glad I checked it out. Recommended it to my sister who is an avid Christian fiction reader. Can’t wait to discuss the book with her. If I win, I will share the book with her and with my daughter.

Your web site beckons one to come in. For me it represents a visual of Shel Silverstein’s poem “Invitation.” Can’t you just see the fire? You are sitting there spinning flax-golden tales, Anne.

    • Oh my goodness! You have blessed me so much today, Rebecca! So glad you enjoyed the book–and that you shared it! And I love your impression of the website. It makes me happy. πŸ™‚

  6. Hey, Anne! You have a very nice website. πŸ™‚ I’m looking forward to reading your new book when it comes out. I already have WOAD so you don’t need to enter my name into the giveaway!

    • Thanks, JoyAnne! If you pop back over here, leave me your email addy so I can contact you if you win a copy! πŸ™‚

    • Oops! Just saw that I have it! I’m getting used to all the bells and whistles on this new site!

  7. I like the new site! The house at the top looks like it could come straight out of Wings of a Dream! πŸ™‚

    • Thanks, Wendy! I’m loving how bright and fresh it looks. Now to learn how to work it from the backside!
